Jazz Ensembles
Iowa Park High School has two competing Jazz Ensembles, Jazz Ensemble I and Jazz Ensemble II. The Iowa Park Birdlanders competed at the Tarleton Jazz Festival in April of 2023 and brought home first place in the 3A and 4A categories! We are very excited to have two competing ensembles and provide high quality entertainment and music to the community for years to come! Stay up to date on our performance and competition dates in the future!

Iowa Park High School Jazz will be hosting a Jazz Festival on April, 26th at Midwestern State University. The festival will be featuring the Texas Tech Jazz faculty, with a concert FREE OF CHARGE in the evening! We are excited to work with the TTU Jazz faculty for a fun and educational day of jazz with bands from all around the area!

Region Jazz Auditions will take place in September of 2024 @ Graham HS.

*All Jazz Ensemble I members will be REQUIRED to audition for the region jazz band. All Jazz Ensemble II members are encouraged to audition as well, but not required.*
